Violins

by Emily Butler

I finished piecing the violin today. The one with the green borders is the one I plan on finishing out as a quilt. The pink and blue one was my test to see if I could do it. The fiddle contest is coming up in April and now that the hard part is done I feel like the rest of the quilt will be a breeze to finish before then. I stitched the strings on with just about the shortest stitch length my machine would do. I think when I do the darker one I'll use some thicker upholstery thread for strings G, D, and A. Then regular thread for the E string. Thank you for creating such a wonderful pattern. I showed the panel to the adult leaders of the junior fiddler group this evening and they were blown away by the detail you put into creating the pattern. I hope as my kids grow I'll have more freedom to try out more of your patterns.

Heart Wreath

by Renee Neuens

Here is a photo of the completed project. It turned out very sweet. It made me smile each time to saw it while I had it on my kitchen wall for the month of February.

Christmas Wreath

by Kathy Healey

I finished a Zoom class with Eileen Kisiki at Aurora Sewing Center this morning. She is a great teacher!  This is the second class I have taken with her on Zoom. She loves your patterns and so do I. Looking forward to trying your “Piece of Pie” pattern next.

Soccer Bag

by Judy Mullen

I made this bag for my granddaughter Claire who will be going to college next fall and play soccer. This was quite a challenge. I eliminated the tiny black pieces that separate the white areas. Instead I couched black pearl cotton to create the same effect. I made 9 blocks, 8 on the outside and one inside as a pocket. Each soccer ball is made from different black and white fabrics. Claire is my seamstress/quilter. I know she will love it. Thank you so very much for sharing your pattern with me.

O Holy Night

by Cheryl Gower, Fort Mohave, AZ

Wanted to praise you for your fantastic and beautiful pattern. Love your diagrams and thorough instructions. Even a beginner should be able to create following your plans. I just finished piecing it, and after some silver star rays and crystal beads for added twinkle, it will be ready to hand-quilt and hang for this Christmas season. Thank you for your hard work. Will definitely be shopping for more patterns.
