Boo by Maggie Winsbro, Eatonton, Georgia

Just thought I would show you what I've done with MB80. I call the small quilt BOO <smile>.  I made the block when it was the current mystery block but I had no plans for it so it lived pinned to my closet door until earlier this year when several quilt bloggers got together and offered a 'Stay At Home Round Robin" that looked like fun. I needed a single block to be the center and what better than one of your blocks. 80 was my choice. Row two was supposed to be plus signs but I didn't like them so I modified the plus signs to friendship stars. I stalled at row five, wonky stars. Row six, small log cabins, wasn't something I was going to do either. A friend suggested a book named Scaling Down. There were some great borders in the book for small quilts which is where the fifth pieced border is from. Fun project. Thanks for all the great blocks.

Windmill Tulips by Elaine Fordham, Ontario, Canada

I made this small quilt for my daughter for her table stand.  She loves tulips and this was the colour in her wedding 17 years ago.

Sweet Seat by Teri Nisbet

I happen to have a kitty that was my inspiration for completing this wall hanging.

Wedding Quilt by Peggy Rash, Elkview, West Virginia

[Here is the] explanation of why it’s taken me so long to get around to making Mystery #99 . . . Found out sometime in March that my husband wanted me to make a quilt for his cousin’s daughter’s June wedding. The wedding is a virtual wedding but the quilt will be a real gift that reflects what the couple indicated were their interests in the outdoors and traveling about together.
