I live in Arkansas but was raised in
Oklahoma and took Oklahoma history
which has always fascinated me. Oklahoma
is celebrating its 100th year birthday
and everyone in the state is doing
something for the Centennial.
I have been doing an
Oklahoma block of the month for the members
who are interested in putting
together an Oklahoma quilt top. They do
not have to use my patterns, but I
am encouraging them to make an
Oklahoma quilt for themselves or a loved one
who is living in
Oklahoma or who has lived there.
