Paper Panache is working towards having a great
variety of patterns for every occasion. Most patterns are printed (paper) patterns
that are sent via the U.S. mail.
A
pattern in the PDF file format is a computer file that must be viewed in Acrobat
Reader (a free utility from Adobe). At this time PDF patterns are sent by email,
along with a password. PDF patterns are found on a separate page in the Pattern
Collection. Most PDF patterns are available
as "PDF Print-Outs." Print-Outs are an option for those who prefer paper patterns.
Print-outs have been printed directly from a PDF pattern, so the format is a little
bit different than the normal individual patterns. Print-outs are sent via the
U.S. mail like the other paper patterns.
IMPORTANT: You must
supply a working email address to receive PDFs.

Paper
Panache began business by publishing the Paper Panache Patternletter. Six issues
were printed between August 1997 and June 1998 and sold by subscription. It is
often referred to as "the Original Patternletter," to tell it apart from the "Mini"
version that became available after it. Each issue features paper-pieced block
and border patterns, ideas, and project suggestions. Patterns are photocopied
by the purchaser for their personal use. This
format is no longer being published, but six back issues remain available. You
may obtain them singly or as a set.
