Umbrella Patterns      These umbrella patterns are left over from the Umbrella Challenge...I thought I'd leave them up for awhile as freebies, along with the hints for using them.      There are two choices: a straight up-and-down umbrella, and an angled one. HINTS: --Think beyond the edges of this block! Add this block to a larger block, or make it larger by enlarging the background area. Focus on the umbrella, or make it a small part of the overall design. --Think of a scene that requires an umbrella and how you will "seamlessly" work it in. --Turn your umbrella this way or that... --If you're taking it to the beach or a picnic, you may want to remove the curve of the handle. --Although two sizes are given, reduce or enlarge the umbrella as you see fit.                   straight--6" or  4"          angled--6" or  4" NOTE: Print outs for Mac will be 8" and 5.32" Designs c.1997-2004 L.
