Judy writes: "I took a Margaret Rolfe class about 4 years ago and designed a camel and koala using her techniques. We learned how to turn a photo or drawing of an animal into a regular pieced pattern. Since I had done a lot of fpp by then, I adapted my pattern for fpp. At home I designed the camel starting with a clipart drawing from Corel Draw. It is part of a quilt which was based on a quilt in Margaret's book entitled Patchwork Quilts to Make for Children published by Sterling Pub. Co. in NY. The patterns there are for standard piecing. Margaret has since redesigned the animals in that book for fpp and has republished them with That Patchwork Place. I can't find my copy of the new book to give you the correct title but it's only a couple of years old."
