This is the matching 17th c. Cherub.

I was thinking that together, dirt to dirt, they might make an
two-ended quilt top.
This pattern was inspired by a visit to the King's Chapel Burying Ground, part of the Freedom Trail in Boston. It is the oldest site in the city, founded in 1630. Winged skulls and skeletons abound, and to a lesser extent, angels.
UP FRONT : This pattern is rated "I" for
Intrepid ... 58 sections, tons of small pieces.
You could make just the top arc if the whole stone doesn't work for you. If you want to include an epitaph, I suggest an alphabet stencil, a stencil brush, and acrylic paint. (You can get a very good result stenciling words onto fabric.)
