In March and April 2001, we had a tulip block swap based on a block offered here on the site. These tulip block projects are shared by their makers.

That is your tulip basket in the background.
It is now one of my pillows for St. John

I wasn't planning to enter the exchange but I loved that cheery tulip and decided I need a little cheer this spring with my husband very ill and my father dying in May. My Dad loved to garden and his biggest regret was not being able to put one in this spring. So, I planted this tulip for him!

I am pleased with my tulip quilt. If you look at the tulip quilt through a magnifying glass, it looks pretty good! I really made the quilt for myself, but one of my children will get it before too long! My 2 daughters, son and 2 sons-in-love all like my quilts, which is very complementary and rewarding.
