Story:
These are jewel-toned "Almost Amish" blocks from an online swap
I did a few years ago. I think they could be put together with some sashing into
a cute baby quilt, or you could raid your stash and make more blocks for a bigger
quilt. Contents: (10) 12" finished size blocks in a variety
of patterns. They're all jewel-toned with different black-on-black backgrounds. ADOPTED

Amish
Goes Pentecostal by Maria in Alaska Linda, remember the 'almost
amish' blocks?* Well they went Pentacostal! Tee hee! Here's a shot of the finished
top. It's brighter in person, but you get the drift. It's 63" square. I think
it'll be a lap quilt. I'll probably donate it to an organization unless someone's
name just becomes blazened in my mind for it! LOL Several years ago some gals
in the guild were doing this block setting. I never did it with them but was in
KC over spring break and saw the book, Twist and Turn and wanted to try it
and thought these blocks would be perfect to experiment with.
