THE
AUCTION IS HELD ON THIS SITE. There is no registration offsite.
REGARDING
UFOS:
--UFOs are sold as is.
--I will do my best to describe everything
accurately. I will note any obvious imperfections.
--Fabrics may or may not
have been washed.
REGARDING SAMPLE TOPS and BLOCKS:
--It is
usually expedient for me to use existing photos of tops and blocks. If there is
anything meaningfully different in the block than what is seen in the photo, I
will say so.
--Blocks/tops are sold as is. My standards of workmanship are
pretty high, but I do not claim perfection.
--I will note any obvious imperfections
of color, seaming, matching, flatness, etc.
--I will note the presence or
absence of embroidery.
--Fabrics may or may not have been washed.
--The
paper is probably still on it, and the edges probably haven't been trimmed...
(but it can be all yours, baby!)
SIMPLE
SILENT AUCTION:
--For now, this is an email bid system (until I am able
to install a database for this purpose).
--To make a bid, you will submit
the form on the UFO page with your name, address and email address. It will come
directly to me via email.
--Bids will be posted at least once a day
on the UFO page, late in the evening Pacific time. If I am able, I will update
twice a day . If you are outbid, I will send an Outbid email notice with the current
high bid.
--On the last last day of bidding, I will post at least twice. Time
info will be on UFO page.
--The winner will receive email notification at
the end of the auction.
--If the same amount is bid by two different people,
both bids will be shown, but preference will go to the earliest time mark on the
email.
--Auctions are open for one week.The closing time is posted on the
UFO page.
WINNER / PAYMENT:
--After the winner has been informed, I will add the postage fee (if any, it will
be stated clearly in the description) and email a payment link to the winner.
Clicking the link will send you securely through the shopping cart to use your
credit card or pay with Paypal.
--Please submit payment within 3 days.
--Please
conclude the sale. Don't make me BAN you from participating in the future.
--If a winner fails to conclude an auction, I will email an opportunity to the
second highest bidder. If that fails, the item may be reposted at a future
date.
AUCTION EMAIL LIST:
--This maillist is provided so that all interested parties will receive email
announcements of new auctions. I will announce auctions in the general update
announcements, but there may be more auctions than site updates.
