Grandma's Chalkware

The chalkware set below, left, hung for 40 years over the wood stove in my grandmother's kitchen. She gave them to me when she moved in with my mom around '04, and stained as they are with woodsmoke and ash, they hang in my kitchen now. I made a sketch; briefly considered the apples instead; went back to the pears. People thought they had flowers, but as you can see, they are easy to identify...in context! (Probably should have gone with the apples!)
